Edward Morgan Forster
Goes by: Morgan
Teacher/Student: Student / Junior
Birthday: January 1
Residence: Bierce
Personality: Morgan is a very solitary person, painfully shy. He came at the beginning of freshman year, made very few acquaintances, and spent most of his time waiting for school to be over and done with. He's not easily made comfortable and is always worried his presence is unwanted, and that people are going to be judging him in everything he does. He sees himself as a skinny and ultimately weak person, walked over and trod upon by the people at school who mean more than he does.
He's trapped himself in a shell of fear and self-loathing, and is full of internal confliction. He's afraid of being gay, and terrified of other people finding out, especially his family. He was raised by his mother and two aunts, one of whom is providing for his education. While his aunts treated him as their special doll, he still doubts their sincerity, and how they would take knowing the truth about him. His family are the only people he feels like he has, and he doesn't want them to reject him and leave him alone in the world. Neither does he want to add to the tragedy of his mother's life. His father died when he was only a year old, and, like Morgan, Alice is a sad, fragile type of person.
In school as a child he was often made fun of for his feminine looks. This has also been internalized and has much to do with how he's turned into a recluse. He often absorbs himself in assignments and schoolwork to avoid talking to people he doesn't know. He doesn't trust others very easily, because he's always convinced that in one way or another they despise him.
Major Details: He loves India, but he's never seen a Bollywood film. The only sport he could think of playing would be cricket, though he does like watching the polo games. He tends to like slightly older boys. To him, freedom is visually represented by Gabe Rossetti. He's extremely afraid of being touched, but it doesn't mean he likes you any less if he shy away from your hand. After a long relationship with Augustine Severac, Morgan has become slightly more accessible, though Augie's going to college so far away broke him up a bit.
